Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Student", "Teacher", or "Visitor") and Leaders Academia ("Academy", "we", "our", "us") governing your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By registering for an account, enrolling in a course, submitting an application, or simply browsing our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Platform.
2. Our Services
Leaders Academia provides online IT training services, including but not limited to:
- Live one-on-one and group web development, design, marketing, and IT classes conducted via video call.
- A curriculum and learning management platform accessible via the student dashboard.
- Downloadable learning materials, worksheets, and resources.
- Progress tracking, assessments, and certificates of completion.
- Teacher matching and scheduling services.
- Community features including student groups and events.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time with reasonable notice to affected users.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Registration
To access our full platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
3.2 Account Security
You must notify us immediately at support@leadersacademia.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to notify us promptly.
3.3 One Account Per Person
Each account is for a single individual only (except family accounts under the Premium plan). Sharing account credentials or login access is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.
4. Eligibility
Our services are open to individuals of all ages. However:
- Users under the age of 13 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent prior to enrollment.
- Users aged 13–17 require parental acknowledgement of these Terms.
- By enrolling a minor, the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on behalf of the child and accepts responsibility for the child's compliance.
5. Prohibited Conduct
By using our Platform, you agree not to:
- Share, reproduce, or distribute any course materials without our express written permission.
- Record any live class sessions without the prior written consent of the teacher and the Academy.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or harassing purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform, servers, or databases.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Upload or transmit any malicious code, spam, or content that violates any applicable law.
- Engage in any conduct that disrupts, interferes with, or creates an undue burden on the Platform.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Platform.
- Use the Platform to promote or solicit any third-party services or competitive educational offerings.
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.
6. Payments and Refunds
6.1 Subscription Billing
Our services are offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are displayed in USD and are inclusive of any applicable taxes where required by law.
6.2 Free Trial
New users may access a free 7-day trial without providing payment details. At the end of the trial period, you must actively choose a paid plan to continue. We will never automatically charge you without obtaining your payment details and explicit consent.
6.3 Refund Policy
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days, contact our support team for a full refund. After 30 days, refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Trial classes and one-time purchases are non-refundable unless the session was cancelled by us.
6.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email and will retain their current rate until the next billing cycle following the notice period, at which point the new pricing will apply.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to curricula, course materials, worksheets, recordings, graphics, logos, and software — is the intellectual property of Leaders Academia or its licensed content providers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use course materials solely for your own personal educational purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any Platform content without our prior written consent.
8. User-Generated Content
Where you submit content to the Platform (such as reviews, forum posts, or assignment submissions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with our services. You warrant that any content you submit does not infringe any third-party rights and is not unlawful, defamatory, or obscene.
9. Disclaimers
Our Platform and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for the highest quality of education, we make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- That the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.
- That any specific learning outcomes, certifications, or results will be achieved.
- The accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content for your particular purpose.
Career and technical guidance provided through our platform is for educational purposes only. Outcomes such as employment or freelance income depend on individual effort and are not guaranteed.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Leaders Academia, its directors, employees, partners, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or (b) PKR 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the safety, integrity, or reputation of the Academy. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be issued.
You may terminate your account at any time via your dashboard settings. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately, though we may retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
For users in the European Union, you also have the right to raise disputes with the competent consumer protection authority in your country of residence.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using the Platform and cancel your subscription.
